Silver Eagle Dollar is the official coin of the United States of America, also known as the silver bullion coin. It contains one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver. The content, weight and purity were certified by the United States Mint. The silver coin was authorized and approved by the Liberty Coin Act under Title II Public Law 99-61 on July 9, 1985. It was at large by the United States Mint on November 24, 1986. As years passed, the Silver Eagle Dollar has been produced at three mints.
